Moments of Clarity

Was over visiting with my dad yesterday and he was telling me all about his incredibly creative and innovative ideas he is trying to implement. I am just amazed at his intelligence and creative thinking.

He went on to tell me about all he is trying to do to get some of those ideas launched and the stumbling blocks he runs up against. Then he put his hands up in the air and starts speaking with his hands and draws a box in the air with his hands and says, “they don’t think outside the box, they only think inside the box, why don’t they think outside the box??!!!”.

We had this moment of profound connection!

Driving home I was realizing that the part of me I have known about for so long actually comes from my father, and I would have never known that, or figured that out if my life had not unfolded as it has. It’s amazing the parts you can discover about yourself and your loved ones as you age and life evolves.

A place in time when clarity visited me. A time when I knew who I was and what I was all about.  I wanted to capture it’s essence forever and reuse it over and over again.

That moment of clarity rippled its stamp upon my life as it is. As it should be.
